While Foxy events can be considered as outrageous, we are able to have the level of outrageousness, because everyone feels comfortable.

And we achieve this by focusing on people's behaviours.

So this is a good time to send the Fuck Boy checklist.

A self-check for how you behave online and in person.

Tick a box if you recognise the behavior in yourself. Each tick points to something to change. A tick in Rules matters even if it only happened once.

RULES - Non-Negotiable

These are hard lines. Any tick here needs immediate attention.

• I push or guilt someone after they say no.
• I argue with boundaries or pretend not to understand them.
• I pressure someone for unprotected sex or try to bypass safer sex practices.
• I say "I didn't think that counted" to get around consent.
• I deliberately treat a vague response as a green light.
• I look for loopholes instead of asking clearly.

BEHAVIORS - How You Show Up

Look for patterns in your effort, honesty, and social awareness.

• I send lazy, contextless messages, such as "Do we know each other?"
• I use "respect" or "privacy" to dodge honesty about my own situation.
• I hide my intentions: "I'm just here to talk," when I want more.
• I disappear after being pushy, then return as if nothing happened.
• I only give attention to people I'm attracted to and ignore everyone else.
• I act as though my looks or body entitle me to an invitation or attention.
• I use guilt or passive aggression when things don't go my way, then call it a misunderstanding.
• I monopolise someone's time without checking that they want to keep talking.
• I repeatedly circle back to someone who is not engaging with me.

A note on patterns

A social misstep can be awkwardness. Repeated behavior, and how you respond to feedback, matter. The non-negotiable rules on page 1 apply every time.

COMFORT - How Others Feel

Notice whether people feel free to engage, decline, or walk away.

• I bring intense, performative energy before there is mutual interest.
• I make others feel watched, cornered, or followed.
• I use politeness to hide an expectation of attention or sex.
• I challenge a no with guilt or blame: "Is someone jealous? Is that why I can't come?"
• I seek constant validation or fish for praise.
• I do not adjust my tone or energy to the moment or the feedback I get.
• I play dumb to avoid accountability: "You never said we had to use a condom."
• I treat a social mixer like a target hunt instead of a conversation.

Pro Tip:

Fuckboy behavior isn’t always about intent—it’s how others experience you.

If someone feels used, misled, or disrespected, it doesn’t matter if you “meant well.”

• Are they being polite and I’m just pushing?
• Am I listening or just waiting for a chance to get what I want?
• Am I adding to the environment or subtly draining it?

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being honest.
